Description: ** ADOPTION PENDING ** True to her name, Sweetie is sweet as can be! Shy with new people at first, Sweetie looks forward to a calm home that will let her true personality shine. In her time at the shelter, Sweetie has shown that she has a gentle demeanor and would love a quiet place to call her own. She enjoys easy walks and social contact, and would love a warm bed or couch to curl up on to snuggle in for a movie or just some quiet cuddle time. At about 3.5 years old and around 60lbs, Sweetie may have some playful energy hiding under her quiet demeanor once she gets to know you, too! Sweetie is a gentle soul, looking for a gentle home to call her own - is it yours?

1) Sweetie is an easy-going lady here at the shelter. She still has some scratches and small wounds that are healing up, and she may do best in a home that has experience with shy dogs, too.

2) We don't know how Sweetie will be with cats or other small animals, so please be sure to discuss proper introductions between Sweetie and any resident small animals with your adoption counselor.

3) Sweetie has been dog neutral here at the shelter, but as a shy lady, she tends to avoid contact with other animals at this time. She may do best in a home either as an only dog, or with another dog of similar size and calm demeanor who will give Sweetie the time that she needs to decompress and relax in her new surroundings.

4) Due to her shy nature, Sweetie may do best in a quieter home that is either free of children, or who has older children who can give her the time she needs to decompress in her new environment.
