As an approximately year old lab mix who weighs about 48lbs, Cheerios is past his puppy days and is into young adult play and adventures! He is a polite young gentleman who loves to play ball, and really enjoys leaning in for a good scratch or pat, too. He would love a family that wants to include him on adventures, such as an easy walk around the neighborhood or a hike, but definitely loves his social time chillin' with his favorite people, too.

1) Cheerios is an easy going guy who would likely do great as a first time dog to a committed owner or owners.

2) We don't know how Cheerios will do with cats or other small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor to make sure Cheerios and any resident small animals can be good house mates.

3) Cheerios has done great with other dogs here at the shelter! He may do wonderful living with another dog of similar energy, and would love to meet your resident dogs!

4) Gentle in nature, Cheerios would likely do great with children who are around 9 years of age or older.
