SKIPPER

Breed: Siberian Husky/Pit Bull Terrier

Sex: Male

Age: 1 YEAR 1 MONTH

Description: Skipper is an energetic and lovable boy who is always ready for some fun and a good snuggle! This approximately 1 year-old Husky/American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighs around 62 pounds and loves being with his people, whether that is cuddled up on the couch or outside having a grand adventure. He has a lot of enthusiasm for life, and his new family will need to be ready to help him channel that energy in positive ways. Like any dog entering into a new home, he would benefit greatly from continued basic training with positive reinforcement. With consistency and guidance, Skipper has all the makings of a wonderful companion!

1. Skipper has done well meeting new dogs, and we did note that he appears to do better with calmer dogs. To be sure that it is a good match, Skipper would love to meet any of your other canine family members prior to adoption.

2. We're unsure how Skipper is with cats or other small animals, so we recommend careful introductions and appropriate supervision if he will encounter them. His family should be prepared to manage introductions thoughtfully and give him time to learn what is expected.

3. Skipper would absolutely benefit from continued basic training with continued positive reinforcement. He is a smart, active boy and his new family should provide plenty of appropriate exercise, enrichment, and structured activities while also teaching him how to relax. If you're looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving companion and are ready to help Skipper continue learning and growing, he may be your guy!
