For Businesses Offering Ice Storm Cleanup Services: Sign up to Accept Vouchers

In the aftermath of the recent ice storm in Clackamas County, we face a significant cleanup effort to remove fallen trees, branches, and vegetative debris. To help people living in unincorporated Clackamas County dispose of debris from the recent ice storm, the county is offering $30 electronic vouchers for use at participating yard debris disposal locations and with participating landscape and arborist companies (see list of participating businesses) for ice storm debris disposal. These vouchers will be issued electronically to unincorporated residential properties (outside cities). Clackamas County encourages qualifying local businesses to sign up to accept these vouchers--this will benefit both residents and the businesses they hire.

Sign up to Accept Vouchers Under the County's Temporary Ice Storm Cleanup Program

Interested businesses offering ice storm debris cleanup must use this form to sign up to take $30 ice storm cleanup vouchers issued by Clackamas County. The voucher (an electronic gift card issued through Yiftee) allows a business to receive value through a keyed-in Mastercard transaction. The process to sign up takes approximately 5 minutes. Using the form below, your business will be asked to represent and warrant the following:

Your business offers clean up or disposal of vegetative and woody debris from the February ice storm on or from residential properties in unincorporated Clackamas County;
You will accept the voucher only from the owner or occupant of a single-family residential property in unincorporated Clackamas County to whom the voucher is issued;
You are, and will remain, (A) licensed, bonded, and insured through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or the Oregon Landscape Contractors Board (the form requires your CCB or LCB number); or (B) are a solid waste franchisee serving the County;
You have and will, throughout the term of the Program, comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws;
You have and will, throughout the term of the Program, and will maintain any and all necessary permits, licenses, or authorizations to do this work;
If your business disposes of vegetative and woody debris, such disposal may not include the open burning of material and must be carried out at a facility that is permitted to accept yard debris, wood chips or hog fuel;
You will accept the voucher only for cleanup of woody or vegetative debris caused by the February 2021 ice storm. The cleanup of any other materials shall be paid for by the customer personally; and,
You are able to accept payment using the voucher (your business must be able to accept a Mastercard keyed entry - the voucher is not a physical card that can be swiped or inserted).

Once your information is received, Clackamas County will review the details. Qualifying businesses will be invited to verify capability to process vouchers by processing a 10-cent Mastercard transaction and will be added to the Yiftee platform including the list of participating businesses. We are working to grow the List of Participating Businesses that currently accept an ice storm cleanup voucher. Businesses may be added on an ongoing basis through April 2021. The presence of a business on the list means they meet qualifying criteria and not that Clackamas County endorses their service in any way.
